[in progress]
"The Dark Side of the Moon" documents the stories of women who have experienced violence and portrays the places in which the event occurred. The place is both arbitrary and crucial. It is the place that changed their lives forever. It appears to be a common, ordinary, banal place, yet it was the scene of violence.

On Tuesday nights I would go to my grandmother’s house
and I would say to her, « I don’t want to go ».
My grandmother thought it was a child’s whim.
I had no choice but to go back.

He was even quite nice, when we went to the party,

he said he wanted me to feel comfortable,

to be comfortable in the car.

It’s like I’m a little bit half dead

and the others are the living.

I’m not in the same world as them.

Ce qui m’a obsédée cette nuit-là,

c’était de retrouver la clef.

De comprendre comment sortir de cet immeuble.

What obsessed me that night

was finding the key.

To figure out how to get out of that building.

Little by little, my field of vision was shrinking, it’s not that I couldn’t see anything but I think that the field of possibilities was completely closed.
